The terms that govern buying, selling and refurbishing with us.

Acceptance Of Terms
By creating an account, placing an order, or submitting a device to sell on WhyNew COMPUTERS, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Accounts & Eligibility
- • You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract to use our services.
- • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- • One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.
Buying Products
Product listings show price, specifications and stock availability at the time of viewing. Prices and availability can change before checkout is complete. Placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we confirm once payment is verified.
Selling / Refurbish Requests
You can submit your device for us to evaluate and buy back. Submitting a sell request means you confirm:
- • You are the lawful owner of the device, and it is free of any outstanding loan, lease, or lock.
- • The specifications and condition details you provide are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- • You have backed up and removed your personal data before handover; we are not responsible for data left on a device you sell to us.
- • If we need more details or photos to complete an evaluation, you'll be notified and can respond directly on your request.
Quotations & Offers
After reviewing your submitted device, our team issues a quotation. You may:
- • Accept the offer as-is, which locks in the agreed price.
- • Send a counter-offer with your expected price, which our team reviews and may accept, reject, or counter again.
- • Cancel the request at any point before a deal is finalized, with no obligation.
The final agreed price may be adjusted after physical inspection at pickup if the device's actual condition differs materially from what was described — you'll always be informed and asked to confirm before any price change is finalized.
Order Conversion & Tracking
Once a quotation is accepted, it converts into an order or a confirmed buyback deal. You can track its progress — packed, dispatched, out for delivery/pickup, and completed — from your account, along with an activity log of every status change and message tied to that order.
Payments & Payouts
- • Purchases must be paid in full through an accepted payment method before dispatch, unless otherwise agreed.
- • Buyback payouts are released to the bank/UPI details you provide, after your device passes final evaluation.
- • Every payment and payout is recorded with a reference number, amount, method, and status, viewable from your account.
- • You're responsible for providing accurate payout details; we are not liable for funds sent to an incorrect account you supplied.
Pickup & Delivery
Pickup and delivery windows shown at checkout or on your sell request are estimates. Please ensure someone is available at the provided address during the scheduled window; repeated failed pickups/deliveries may require rescheduling and could affect the timeline of your order or payout.
Returns, Cancellations & Warranty
- • Purchased products may be returned within the window stated on the product/order page, in original condition, unless marked non-returnable.
- • Refurbished products carry the warranty period stated at the time of purchase, covering hardware defects under normal use.
- • Sell requests can be cancelled any time before you accept a quotation and before pickup is completed.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- • Submit stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented devices for sale.
- • Provide false specification, condition, or ownership information.
- • Attempt to interfere with the platform's normal operation or security.
- • Use another person's account or payment/payout details without authorization.
Limitation Of Liability
WhyNew COMPUTERS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform, delays in pickup/delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, or data left on a device at the time of handover. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid or payable for the relevant order or deal.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to your account for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, or misuse of the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us, subject to completing any orders or payouts in progress.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
